Supplements:
- Skip comparison - refers to a 6 cubic yard skip, the typical skip seen in a residential street
- Weight allowance - for heavy materials we charge by weight
On some occasions, if a job looks like it will take more than the allotted time, a supplement may be added (£70 per extra hour). The team will inform you of this before they start.
We charge according to the amount of waste we clear - typically we charge based on volume (although for heavy materials, we charge by weight). Our prices include a generous labour allowance for two people to do all of the loading up and even sweep up for you after.
Tips to help reduce your estimate
If you wish you can dismantle or flat pack furniture where possible saving volume on the vehicle and keeping your load cost lower.
Keep as much as possible in bags. Carrier, Bin or builders bags. Fewer trips to and from our van saves time and money for everyone.
Sort waste into piles. This makes it easier and quicker to organise loading.
Bigger loads are generally more cost effective. If you are undertaking a DIY project, try to finish the job and have all the rubbish collected together.
Other factors to consider when estimating
How accessible is your rubbish to get to? This is an important factor as it can greatly impact the amount of time it takes to remove your waste. Is your rubbish loose or bagged? This again can affect the time it takes to complete the job. See the price guide below to see how much labour time is included for your load size, additional loading time is charged per half hour at a rate of £40.00 and per hour at the rate of £70.
Materials we Cannot take
We cannot take: Compressed gases, Fluorescent tubes, Asbestos, Paint or any other hazardous waste. Your local council will be able to advise you on possible means of disposal.
